“Duet” | The Flash
It’s been one heck of an exciting week on TV with Once Upon A Time kicking engagements into motion. Madam Secretary gave us further insight into Jay’s struggles at home. When Calls the Heart showcased the power of friendship while exploring the importance of chasing our dreams. The Americans gave us a beautiful slow dance I can’t stop replaying. Chicago P.D. shattered our hearts. And Superstore reminded us of how much the Cloud 9 employees really care for one another. But it was The Flash’s musical crossover with Supergirl that left me the happiest.
“Borrowing Problems from the Future” | The Flash
While the world falls apart, it’s good to know we can always count on TV to deliver phenomenal episodes after another. Timeless rocked our hearts with The Lone Ranger’s epic identity. This is Us debuted my personal favorite episode to date. Suits returned with an emotionally charged promising episode. Nashville dealt with some much needed internalized feelings, and Emerald City took its core characters on daring adventures. But it was The Flash’s winter premiere that I’ve not been able to get out of my head.

Team Flash (The Flash)
The Flash is remarkable for countless reason, but my absolute favorite is the friendships. It’s that simple. Team Flash is the team to be on. It’s the one I would desperately want to join if this weren’t a TV show. (Sigh) The Flash may be a series about DC’s adorable nerdy superhero Barry Allen, but its heart lies in the friendships that make Barry Allen who he is. The Flash is a series about teamwork, and what it means to truly support someone in their quest to make a difference. What it means to truly make a difference in a person’s life through kindness and steadfast loyalty. Love and loyalty are the foundations of all great friendships, and with Team Flash, it is what drives the group to success.
“Life of the Party” and “Monsters” | Agent Carter
It’s been an exceptional week for finales and because we’ve worn ourselves out talking about Once Upon A Time’s masterful 5A finale here and here, we’ve chosen to talk about our other favorites that’ve floored us this week — The Flash, Nashville, and Arrow.
