We’ve always had a love for entertainment; therefore, back in 2010, we decided to start reviewing our favorite TV shows, albums, and movies.
We go by a very specific rule we were both taught as children: “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.“ Yes, from time to time we offer criticism on things we enjoy but they are merely ways in which we feel it could improve. We all have our concerns in the world of fiction, ways we want the show/movie/album to grow, but there’s an enormous difference between offering opinions and hating. Nothing is perfect. No one is perfect. The point is, we don’t want anyone to feel as though they’re being ridiculed. If we’re not fond of something entirely, you won’t see us discussing it. We offer in-depth analyses, we break things down, but we will never trash something. If we begin to dislike the direction of where a TV series is going, we’ll stop reviewing it because we do not want to bash something we know others enjoy. Just because we don’t like it and can’t relate to it, doesn’t mean it isn’t good.
We put our hearts, time, and energy into making our reviews what they are — we want readers to see why we enjoyed it so much. We do not believe in putting our hearts into spreading hate. We want readers to feel the kind of love we felt while watching and writing.
If you don’t find something on our website, chances are we either don’t watch it/listen to it or didn’t love it enough to write about it. However, we are open to suggestions — we watch a number of shows we don’t actually review because of time constraint, but if you’d like for us to, email us, and we may consider it.
Above all things, we believe in spreading love, and we hope everyone else does too.
